Several pastors within the Lehigh Valley Tres Dias community have a long history with Tres Dias. They have witnessed first-hand how those who attend these weekends return to their churches “on fire” for Christ; excited to serve hand-in-hand with pastors in whatever capacity is needed. Check out what pastors have to say in response to the question:

How has Tres Dias made a difference in the spiritual life of your congregation??

“I have been involved with the Tres Dias movement since 1983 when I attended my first weekend in Northern New Jersey. Since that weekend I’ve seen the mission of Tres Dias in action to build up leaders for the church and empower men and women to work alongside their Pastors to fulfill the great commission. Over the last 30 years I’ve served on many Tres Dias weekends, initially as a lay leader and then as a Spiritual Director once I entered the ministry. I can say unequivocally that it was the discipleship I received on those weekends that helped me recognize my spiritual gifts, strengthen my faith and accept my eventual calling to enter the ministry. For more than 20 years I’ve seen countless men and women attend Tres Dias weekends in Northern New Jersey and become strong leaders for their local churches. I’m excited that this opportunity to build strong local church leaders has come to the Lehigh Valley and I’m glad to serve on these weekends here because I’ve seen the blessing. If you’ve been looking for a discipleship tool to help develop the potential leaders in your own church, please consider utilizing the Tres Dias movement to inspire and equip your leaders for effective ministry.”

“I have been involved with Tres Dias for nearly 30 years and have seen and heard of multitudes of testimonies of how this organization has changed lives for Christ. I’ve seen men and women accept Christ, heal relationships, make commitments to grow closer to Christ, be more involved with church and witness of Jesus to friends and family and many other changes of a redeemed life. Tres Dias is an organization that changes lives and brings people closer to Jesus. At one point, we had over 50 of our members who had attended Tres Dias, and they helped change and grow our Christian community. I encourage pastors to send people from their church to attend. They will come back with a great testimony and passion for serving, and that will impact so many people for Christ in the future!”

Pastor Gary Taylor, Community Baptist Church, Somerset, NJ

“Clinton Church of the Nazarene has benefited beyond measure from Tres Dias. More than 50 percent of our congregation have made a weekend during the past 20 years, and each time, it has been a blessing. In the business world they say the best form of advertising is a satisfied customer. That works double for our weekends. Although I encourage members of the Nazarene congregation to attend a weekend, nothing convinces them as powerfully as an invite from one of their friends at church. Tres Dias has a bright future at our church. It’s been a blessing to be part of the movement.”

“It was he who gave gifts to mankind; he appointed some to be apostles, others to be prophets, others to be evangelists, others to be pastors and teachers. He did this to prepare all God’s people for the work of Christian service, in order to build up the body of Christ. And so we shall all come together to that oneness in our faith and in our knowledge of the Son of God; we shall become mature people, reaching to the very height of Christ’s full stature.”   Ephesians 4:11-13
